📢 Announcing: 2026 Departure Breaks Fantasy Baseball League — Registration is OPEN!

Season: 2026 MLB (full season)
Platform: CBS Fantasy • Web + iOS/Android
Format: Weekly lineups • Head-to-head scoring • Two matchups per week

This is a friendly, structured fantasy league for the Departure community. Any skill level is welcome— as long as you’ll stay active, set lineups, and manage your team all season (even if you’re buried in the standings by June).

League Setup

Team Count: Determined after sign-ups

  • Up to two 16-team leagues (max 32 total teams)

  • Similar to last year: separate leagues, then league champs face off for an overall title

Why CBS Fantasy?
CBS has the best league customization and commissioner control I’ve used over the years, plus a solid site and mobile apps. It’s a paid host, but it’s worth it for how smooth and configurable everything is.

Entry + Eligibility

Entry Fee: $30 per team

  • $10 covers CBS hosting costs

  • $20 goes directly to prizes (in-season + playoffs/championship)
No profit is taken — all money goes to site fees + prizes.

Eligibility: Must have participated in at least five Departure breaks in the past 365 days
Discord Required: Our league hub for announcements, trade talk, rules, and general chaos.

Prizes

Prizes will include:

  • 1st / 2nd / 3rd place

  • Weekly High Score awards

Full prize breakdown will be posted in Discord once sign-ups end and we know the final team count.

Draft Day

Draft: Sunday 3/22 at 12:00pm ET
Can’t attend? No problem:

  • Set your pre-draft queue for autodraft, or

  • Have a friend draft/manage your team for you

Important Dates

Sign-ups close: Friday night (3/20) after the break stream
After sign-ups close (and leagues are finalized), I’ll message/email everyone who’s in with the CBS league invite link. After that, all updates live in the Fantasy Baseball channel on Discord.
