Every Pokémon card pulled from the break will go to the spot matching the card’s printed type.
 
For example:
Darkness-type Pokémon go to the Darkness spot
Water-type Pokémon go to the Water spot
Colorless Pokémon go to the Colorless spot
Dragon-type Pokémon go to the Dragon spot
Trainer and Special Energy cards go to the Trainer spot
 
The guaranteed Zarude promo from the Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box goes to the Darkness spot.
The guaranteed Mega Feraligatr ex promo from the Ascended Heroes box go to the Water spot.
